About Me
A native of Antwerp, Belgium, Kenny Segers emigrated to Costa Rica in 2008 to study economics and business administration. He went to work as a property manager for House of Rentals in Flamingo, which he acquired not long afterward. House of Rentals grew into Special Places of Costa Rica, a leading full-service real estate agency on the Guanacaste coast, currently represented by offices in Playa Flamingo and Playas del Coco.
After years of managing a growing vacation rental business, Kenny branched out into real estate sales, project development and home construction in 2020. Special Places is currently building new luxury homes for sale or rent, and he manages the Hotel Pitaya Lodge in Potrero. He recently entered into a partnership with Blue Water Properties, a leading Guanacaste real estate agency, greatly expanding his inventory of homes and businesses for sale.
Kenny speaks and writes fluent Spanish, English and Dutch. He is the proud father of a Costa Rican son, Khael, who was born in 2016. Contact Kenny at kenny@crvr.net.
